Speedwatch update

We have now done 2 speedwatch sessions. Sadly not enough volunteers but for now we will be able to continue as long as we have the few that do come along. We have now zapped about 30 to 40 cars. The details of these have been passed over the Thames Valley Police who will be sending out a polite warning notice to those that disregard the speed limits through the village. If you are interested, please contact the parish council through the feedback form. Without a reasonable number of voluteers to give an hour or two of their time in a month, we cannot successfully run this programme. One of the biggest issues we get asked about is what we're doing to control speeding through the village. We do what we can, but we need help otherwise the programme will discontinue and the money we've spent on signs, equipment, and hi-vis jackets will have been wasted. Please do help us and with your help we can do something to control the speeding into the village.
